thunderw21 Posted June 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2007 After years of searching, my first big garage sale find. I got all of the below items from one sale for a grand total of $7. Anyone know about this rifle case? It is padded, opens on one end. 1943 dated .50 shell, 2nd ID patch, one 78th Id patch is a greenback, 1942 dated New Testament, B-2 and B-3 ration units, 1945 dated canteen. I also picked up 4 German WW2 zeltbahns for $5. They had been sewn together to create one monster tent, I'm working on getting them back to original condition. The one below is dated 1943. That is indeed the part number for the antenna case for the TBX-2 radio system.
thunderw21 Posted June 6, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted June 6, 2007 Thanks for the info, today my Korean War vet neighbor said the same thing about the case. And I thought it was a rifle case. :/
