M1902 Service Coats

My latest aquisitions are two M1902 coats, one cotton, the other wool.

 

For the cotton coat I consulted Gil's excellent topic on coats from 1903-1910

My cotton coat has the pleated pockets and the smaller falling collar. The four pocket buttons are the pre 1902 type and the others are the 1902 pattern. This coat is really small so now I need a child size mannequin torso to display it.

My wool coat is an early pattern that does not have bellows pockets or pointed cuffs.

 

I have collar insignia which I was going to put on my cotton coat, but the collar is too narrow and I may add the insignia to this coat.
