2nd Infantry Division, WWII

My friends and I couldn't ever find a US unit in the area, so we started one. We are actively recruiting, no experience needed.

 

We have lots of local living histories planned, some displays, and a few tacticals. We are the 2nd ID at tacticals, and anything else that is correct for WWII at living histories. (MP, USMC, USN, WAVE, Partisan, etc)

We too, are the Manchus, 9th IR. I did make sure that we wouldnt be stealing another company. (We are Baker CO.) I believe there is another 9th IR somwhere as well as one for the 23rd and a couple for the 38th IRs. (Of the 2nd ID)

I was with the 2nd ID in real life and would like to see someone wearing the "Texaco Star" at an event. I'd look you guys up, but I'm no longer in the south...

We portray Item company and also have elements of 2nd Recon as part of our unit. We have quite a few vehicles. My wife's uncle was also part of the real 2nd in 1969 in Korea, right before he went "in country" in Nam.
