bobgee Posted December 21, 2007 Share #33 Posted December 21, 2007 This is a pre-war card from China, undated, but I believe it to be from mid-1930s. Semper fi.....Bobgee This is another China Station card but dated December 1945. Notice the language is almost the same as on the pre-war 4th Marines card. Wonder if this was "old stock" they just brought up from the basement? Semper Fi.....bobgee Not a card but a colorful Christmas Menu from the 1st MarDiv in Tientsin, China in 1945. Sgt. Boghots Posted November 11, 2010 Share #41 Posted November 11, 2010 Sorry for the quality of the images; from my Mavica / pre-scanner days . . . Sgt. Merle J. "Jim" Kurtzhal of 3/3, First Special Service Force. After disbandment, he went to the 474th and to Norway. A very simple V-Mail card, though it was able to include his picture in the lower right.
