This is the Christmas menu Dec 1941. A significant date I believe. Also named on the Quartermaster roster is my father, PFC Roland Thomas.

Very cool, Merry Christmas! Figures a shortlived unit would have such nice artwork, must be rarer than hens teeth.

Thanks

Picked this one up also from same group. It was from a buddy of the first guy.

To bad for the mouse nibbles.

That's a neat Tank Destroyer Christmas Card, I can't say that I've ever seen one before. Whats's interesting is that the graphic appears to be a six wheel variation of the TD patch. It has an incredible and bright graphic for its age! I wouldn't be worried about any small damage, it's just nice to see that it survived.

Christmas is around the corner again! Just thought it was time to add a few more cards to this thread...

101st Airborne Division circa December 1990- Operation Desert Shield

I love the low-resolution computer generated look to this. Definitely a product of the times. There are also a few different styles of this card seen for other units serving in Operation Desert Shield at the time.

US Navy Helicopter Utility Squadron 1- circa early 1950s

1st Airborne Battle Group 505th Infantry- circa late 1950s/early 1960s

Card sent home by sergeant assigned to the 642nd Bomber Squadron. KIA in Normandy on June 6th, 1944 when his Douglas A-20 Havoc was shot down by intense flak while flying a support mission for the invasion.

Here's my contribution to this thread. Nothing rare, but I started picking them up this past year whenever I see them for a few bucks

I also have the one with the kids.

I've noticed the one with the kids is quite common. There's always a half dozen or so on Ebay at any given moment. I've never seen the others that vintageproductions mentioned though, so I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

Hey Dwayne. Not sure why, but I can't see your cards. Looking forward to seeing the ones from your dad to your mom!
