siege1863 Posted October 20, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2009 Here is another nice, yet inexpensive, addition to my homefront collection. The real appeal of the booklet, dated 1942, is the artwork on the cover! The image of Stuka dive bombers over the US must have put real fear into some. Note that the booklet is partially completed, with entries for the living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. There are also pages to record clothing, jewelry, and silverware. Unfortunately, it is not identified to the owner.

gwb123 Posted October 20, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 20, 2009 Insurance adverstising in the 1940's and even into the 1960's was, ahem, ... a bit blunt! At first I was wondering if this was for the UK, but the town in the picture looks more like the USA than Britain. That is a bit much!
