gwb123 Posted October 12, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 12, 2009 I love the date embroidered onto the rear. I've also seen them with the seamstress' name on them as well.
Lee Ragan Posted October 13, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 13, 2009 I love the date embroidered onto the rear. I've also seen them with the seamstress' name on them as well. That's not the seamstresses name, it's the contractors name. The dates are contract dates, not necessarily the year manufactured.
SgtJim Posted September 21, 2012 Share #6 Posted September 21, 2012 That's not the seamstresses name, it's the contractors name. The dates are contract dates, not necessarily the year manufactured. I have these dated and with contractors intials. My question is what are the same ratings with cheese cloth on the back of them? post WWII?
