Nice finds, Just in case you don't already know the top is a Navy parachute rigger and the bottom is a naval aviation machinist mate 2nd class.

I love the date embroidered onto the rear. I've also seen them with the seamstress' name on them as well.

 

That's not the seamstresses name, it's the contractors name. The dates are contract dates, not necessarily the year manufactured.

I have these dated and with contractors intials. My question is what are the same ratings with cheese cloth on the back of them? post WWII?
