hawkdriver Posted October 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2009 I picked this up this weekend as a "M-14 pouch". However, I am not uite convinced, it looks more like a M1 carbine 30 round pouch, the loops in the back are not big enough to hold a magazine. No markings other than the US on the front. What say ye? hawkdriver Posted October 11, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted October 11, 2009 Perfect, seems I have a empty spot on my KW cabine setup for this baby. Now it seems that I need to go find two more 30 rnd mags for it now. Always more money!
Andrew Posted October 12, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 12, 2009 Here a 1949-dated example with visible markings, next to an ordinary carbine magazine pocket that has been modified to take the 30 round magazines.

1A291E Posted October 19, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 19, 2009 I don't think you find 4 30rnd mags will fit. I believe they were only designed to hold 2 mags and 2 stripper clips. I have 3 of those pouches and only one will hold 4 mags...and it just closes...so I only put 2 mags in it..did not want to damage the pouch!! 1A291E
