BILL THE PATCH Posted January 21, 2020 Share #486 Posted January 21, 2020 Here's another 644th TD Bn. It is named to a Henry p. Cota, interesting that there is a 8th div patch on lower right sleeve, which I'm told they were attached to them so long they felt they should wear the patch Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk
BILL THE PATCH Posted January 21, 2020 Share #487 Posted January 21, 2020 And a couple of my varients, the green eyed TD patch was to enhance the patch. There was also a member on here with a uniform with this type patch on it. Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk

BILL THE PATCH Posted March 2, 2020 Share #491 Posted March 2, 2020 I know it's in eBay right now, looks ( not sure what word I'm looking for) childish looking, cartoonish, I'm not a fan, but I've seen German made patches look similar in construction. Jim Baker Posted March 2, 2020 Author Share #492 Posted March 2, 2020 Thanks guys. Yeah, I've heard some say it's fantasy and some say post war German. I'm also not a fan of most of the non regulation patches because, as Bill said, they look "cartoonish". One thing about these though, the examples I've seen look just alike.Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen one of these on a uniform with provenance. mortaydc60 Posted March 3, 2020 Share #493 Posted March 3, 2020 Know the collection this was from and was an advanced collector. Not sure what is cartoonish about the patch. Saw it was available 45years ago at ASMIC convention from well known dealer. Actually the only one I have ever seen.

mortaydc60 Posted March 4, 2020 Share #498 Posted March 4, 2020 The seller is very reputable and experienced. Let’s be clear that US patches made in Germany were post war and the way you phase it almost could be negatively interpreted so just wanted to clear that up. I have no issue with the seller and have bought from him in the past. As far as the patch, we only expressed personal opinions. Again, I don't care for it, but if you or anyone else does, that's wonderful. To each his own.
644td Posted March 15, 2020 Share #500 Posted March 15, 2020 A friend surprised me with this TD item that he found at the SOS. Its not a pillow case but is it a sweetheart item? Rough measurement is 13x14 Marty
