danielmccreary18 Posted February 2, 2015 Share #26 Posted February 2, 2015 Hey guys, Walter Valentine McCreary is my Great uncle. I have been trying to find the location of his burial site as my Grandpa Jerry McCreary wished to be buried next to him. I have located the site of his burial. I am currently serving in the U.S Army serving in Europe and its really great to learn about my family and their service in the war. Just this weekend i visited Normandy and Bastogne. Thank you so much for this thread. Where is the box that carried hs casket located? I would like to visit the Museum. Thanks again!!

oldabewla Posted February 3, 2015 Share #29 Posted February 3, 2015 Less we forget unless we keep reminders like this around. My wifes Great Uncle was KIA in 1944 New Guinea by a Japanese sniper and his body returned home after the war. Thanks for posting.
