M51 Wool Cold Weather Uniform

Recommended Posts

Shirt, Wool, M1951

I guess the Army could save money by stamping labels instead of sewing them in. This one is the only label out of three shirts that partially survived. The only readable words are at the top: MEDIUM and halfway down: DO NOT REMOVE THIS LABEL

This is the M1951 wool cold weather uniform that was still issued to special troops in the 1980s.

I saw the wools still being worn by Cadre at Ft. Greely in 2006, they still live! They will not die! AND I have a set of XL Huge withe the cotton over trousers and somewhere a fishtail parka shell.
