teufelhunde.ret Posted September 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 18, 2009 Unbelievable group of 30 EGA's in singles and pairs being sold tonight. Here is the sellers page: http://shop.ebay.com/1sgbrett/m.html?_nkw=...from=&_ipg= and some are downright rare. Posting some of these for discussion and eventual use in our reference area. Here is one that I would term as being "rare" - a word I am inclined to use ever so little. This is likely the most sought after emblem by EGA collectors, the 1926 "gooney" service cap emblem with N.S. Meyer logo. As a private purchase item by officers & enlisted during its period of use... their numbers are small. And it has been said, many did not care for its design and were reluctant to use it, thus a very short life spam before the new design was implemented. At this time top bid is $610 s/f Darrell
