Army Air Corp Observer Wing, Gemsco marked

I only have a few pair of of original WWII Army Air Corp Wings, but I thought I would share this pair. I have had them for a while and they deffinatly show their age and use.

Very nice wing! Thanks for sharing it with us. It is not easy to find observer wings because it seems that the vast majority of those were made into the base for other wings (e.g. gunner, bombardier wings) --and the aircraft observer was relatively rare compared to the other ratings.

Also, these sort of Gemsco wings (and maybe all Gemsco wings) are interesting and unusual because the lower feathers extend past the center emblem - most wings don't have that feature. :thumbsup:
