It's a small syringe box. Once it held 1 metal syringe, two needles for sub cutain injections and six small tubes from glass. Don't know exactly what were held in each tube. I owned one, almost complete set, once and one of the tubes was filled with morphine.

Hope this will help you,

Bob

Hi Artu44, the small medical container you have indeed holds the medical syringe and other items as posted by others members to your thread. Here is the WWI medical officers belt and it was carried in one of the small pockets that you will see on the belt. The belt shown has eagle snap fasteners, and another identical medical belt I have, dated a few months earlier has lift dots. Both of these belts were shown a few months back in and earlier thread on belts.

Very nice Martyn, it's great to see the contents here.

Several years ago a friend of mine bought a complete WWI officer's medical kit. It was in a small box about 12 inches in length. I vaguely recall what it looked like but I remembered he had to keep it low key because it still contained morphine, cocaine, and curiously Strychnine. He eventually sold it to someone who does military medical displays.
