opening a old mci cheese can

date 61 06 makes it from the 1960s

when i opened it it was letting out a real strong bad cheese smell

had to air out my kitchen for a hour :lol:

have eaten a lot of mre cheese spread from the mid 80s to todays stuff

even had a few mci cans when i was a kid,but that can must have been

totaly of. :blink::lol:

Actually, you may have accidentally opened a can of sun burn cream, that is what that looks like! Did you try some on your face to see if it protects that fair skin of yours :w00t:

sfc: here we have something called "gammel ost" =old cheese and it was

pretty close in smel. i dont like gammel ost eather :lol:

 

brown goat cheese is realy good on fresh home baked bread,yumi :thumbsup:

the white goat cheese is very sharp on taste so its more for cooking purpose.

This reminds me once when my friends and I were hiking near Mt. Rainier. We were at about 4,000 feet and stopped for lunch. I had a "C" ration spagetti I was going to try from the 70s. As soon as I popped the top with my P38, the pressure from the altitude released the sauce in a spray into my face. It also didn't smell very well.

i need to tel that i didnt try to eat the cheese spread B)

 

since the can did bulge, there was no way close to a

taste test!!!

 

i just opened it since i was afraid it would burst

and ruin some of my collection.

My uncle, when he did his military service in 80's, ate a beef can from the 60's and was made in an african country who does not exist anymore. He not have stomach problems.
