jim2 Posted May 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted May 9, 2007 This is a uniform I purchased about 5 or 6 years ago (long before I collected named groupings) The seller stated that he was a west point graduate. They did not list his name in the auction, but the also had listed his joint service commedation medal which was engraved with his name. With a little research I found that he graduated from west point in june of 1943. He was then sent to the pacific in may of 1944 and served in the 1894th & the 806th engineer aviation battalion. Post war in 1966 he learned spanish & served as an engineer advisor in Argentina from 1966 to 1969.
