JGC Posted August 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2009 I need some help to ID the era that these officers EGA's are from. Thanks Jon
Bob Hudson Posted August 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 16, 2009 That's one of the so-called modern EGA's made since 1955: that little dot on the upper anchor fluke easily identifies those.

doyler Posted August 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 16, 2009 Im thinking the 58 pattern or later 1962 till 68 by a quick look in my Eagle Globe and Anchor 1868-1968.Looks like a nice set  RON

usmcaviator Posted August 17, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 17, 2009 These are the 1962 pattern, officer, dress, collar insignia. With the sterling and gold content marks, these date from the Vietnam period until the mid 1980's. The ones made today have no such content.
