1917A1 Medic's helmet...

I'm not sure if anyone would call this a bonafide medic's helmet, but it does have a medical background. I bought this helmet simply because I wanted a 1917A1 and was told by the seller that there was some writing on the liner, but he couldn't make out what was written. The writing was written in pen, but has faded with time. As near as I can tell it says:

 

Sgt. Thomas F.(?) Mc???ty

Co. F 134 Med Regt

Fort Bragg

North Carolina

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've done some Googling and found some info, but if anyone knows anything more about this outfit or can better decipher this gentleman's name please speak up.
