chuck in idaho Posted August 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2009 A few years ago I was given this device and was told it is called a "Honey Pot" used in U.S. bombers. We all know what it was used for. Does any one know what model bombers it was used in? The Honey Pot appears to be unused with all of the pieces in very good condition. Would like to find a good home for it. I'm sure there is some bomber restoration group out there that needs one. I don't imagine there are many left considering what they were used for. Thank you for any help and suggestions are greatly appriciated. Chuck Hope the picture attachments work
Bob Hudson Posted August 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 10, 2009 Is this bucket all plastic? military.com has a photo of a B-24 honey bucket and is was a rather substantial affair, black, apparently made of metal.

Only the black seat is plastic. The rest is made of aluminum and some steel.
