willysmb44 Posted August 28, 2009 Share #26 Posted August 28, 2009 This makes me wish I’d kept some of those “Hooah” power bar supplements. They weren’t all that bad! I guess they’ll be worth something someday, if not already…
flyer333555 Posted September 7, 2009 Share #27 Posted September 7, 2009 Now I have seen it all!!! Still, it is a pretty cool topic.   Did you know that when the Pentagon was developing the MREs they did not know what to call them. So at the end, they went for the name Meals, Rejected by Everyone. Then they thought better and called them Meals, Ready to Eat. But they kept the initials as they thought they were not fooling anyone that way ... Good collection! Luis Ramos

gwb123 Posted September 7, 2009 Share #29 Posted September 7, 2009 Just to point out that an MRE with an expiration date of 1994 would be over 15 years old. Yum!
