I'm searching information about the 623rd Engineer Light Equipment Company. Did they land on D-day on the 6th of June 1944 or did they land on a later date on Omaha beach?

Welcome to the board. The 623rd was assigned to the 1103rd Engineer Combat Group which landed on 23 June, 1944.

My father was with the 623rd and while the above was the plan I have some papers for him that indicated it was around Aug they arrived in Europe.  His name is James E. Killoren.  If I find them again I will attach it here.
