In AF the ones I saw (and wore) were squared off (not shaped to the patch), laminated with a really heavy plastic, and hung from a black leather fitting. It sold on eBay over a year ago as part of that so called "Million Dollar Collection". I tried to buy it then but was outbid in the bloody flurry of sniping at the end. A willing participant.
