Custermen Posted July 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 11, 2009 Interesting story. I have read details about the last dogfight of the Red Baron when Capt Roy Brown was credited with downing him. Captain Roy Brown was a Canadian who was in the No. 9 Squadron RNAS that was re-organized as RAF Squadron No. 209. This was a Canadian unit and most of the men were Canadians. However, one source said the only other casualty of this dogfight was a pilot of the 209th Squadron who was from Memphis, TN. I forget his name: McKee? He was only wounded and survived. Does anyone have any sources and could verify the name of this pilot who was wounded on that fateful day, April 21, 1918. Steve Moderator - the post could be related to US military.
