I have been documenting my collection so I can see what I have and what I need to keep a look out for so I thought I would share the photos of my small but growing navy shoulder board collection. All comments and suggestions welcome.

robert, nice collection. I have a set of WW2 LCDR boards if you are interested. Shoot me an e-mail.

BTW, where in KY are you? I am in Bowling Green.

What are the boards in pic 3 with just a star and no stripes?

BTW - Really great collection.

That's an Officer Candidate shoulder board (I have my pair in a box in the garage somewhere...unless I threw them out years ago!)

I don't know why, but I've always liked shoulder boards. Would love to get an admiral's set someday to go with my Admiral's uniform. Nice collection!

Robert,

I am new to the forum.

My USN/USCG collection consists of about 30 boards.

Mostly singles rather than pairs.

Do you have any singles for sale or trade?

Thanks

Nice collection of boards. I am curious; do you have any trouble keeping the older bullion boards from toning, oxidizing, etc. I am constantly fighting this battle with my bullion rating badges, boards, etc.
