I picked this up about a year ago, the GI has outlined the pattern and written country names on certain leaves to look like a map. He has also written his name on the front.

Nick...that lid belonged to my late uncle Robert L. Schneider. It was stolen in a burglary several years ago and needs to be re-patriated to the family. I'll PM you my address...I'll cover the shipping of course.

The black motif on the helmets covers are a unit identification insignias of the 1/505 rather than personal graffiti but are Vietnam era.Regards

how about a graffiti helmet without a cover? The little red spots block out the letter in the bad word. The liner is dated 7Dec65. The only name I find is "Joe A"

 

My favorite is the zipper on the back of the helmet
