Unknown Flag

A friend of mine recently turned up two of these flags.

I am interested in one of them fpor my own collection as is another friend of ours.

But the guy won't sell until he IDs them.

Obviously they have something to do with Ordinance. They were located in a sale of a WWII weapons Mfgr sale.

 

here is sort of what they look like. I can't find a reference for them anywhere.

I know about the E flags, the M flags, the T flags, etc.

 

any ideas?

That is the banner of the mythical Republic of Ordnancia, where mechanics are respected, Lube Orders are actually read, and scheduled Preventive Maintenance is actually performed. And career Ordnance officers are held in high esteem and actually listened to in command briefings.

 

One could wish....

 

I am wondering if they are unit flags for one of the School Brigades.
