While the pair I am seeking is not "broken' per se, I was hoping to reunite this set with those of two other crew members from the same B-24 that are in my possession. They changed hands on here maybe a year or so ago. If anyone has these please let me know...

Lt. Robert I. McKelvy Jr.

515th BS, 376th BG

Hi Rob, I see this is an old post, but I hope to be able to contact you. I serve as educational director for the Second Schweinfurt Memorial Association. I have been contacted by reps from the town in the Netherlands where Vernon Cole was KIA 14 OCT 43. They want to erect a memorial in his honor. In trying to find a photo I came upon this old post. Would there possibly have been any photos in the letters you mention?

Looking for the officially engraved US Mint Type I Purple Heart to Platoon Sergeant Edmund F. Keough, USMC that was sold on the US Militaria Forum during November 2013.

Also looking for USMC China Service Medal #749 that may have been issued to Edmund F. Keough, according to his record book.

I have his Silver Star, un-engraved Type I US Mint Purple Heart, named USMC Good Conduct Medal, and the rest of his medals and insignia in a group.

Thank You,

Rocco
