Searching for Lieutenant Alfred Peshel Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

I have been trying to track down these medals for about a year with no luck I contacted Mr. Gary Cain the moment that I found them on wehrmacht awards but sadly they were sold years before. I am hoping that the current owner of the medals is a member of this forum and would maybe be willing to sell them to me. I am a graduate student that is writing about his company F 253rd and I have been talking with the veterans of his company since I was 15 and almost every veteran from the company had many story about him. Even though I am a graduate student I am willing to pay top dollar for these medals!

Seeking the whereabouts of SSGT Frank J. Martin Purple Heart. MIA / KIA USAAF on 9/26/44

Served with the 8th Air Force, 709th Bomber Squadron, 447th Bomber Group (Heavy). He was the Ball Turret Gunner on a B-17G (nicknamed "Hurry Home") and was shot down Sep 26, 1944 in Bremerhaven, Germany, just after the bombs were dropped. Eyewitness says the plane exploded but 2-3 chutes were seen seconds before, none of the crew was seen again. He is listed on "Walls of the Missing" and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, PH and Air Medal w/3 OLC's. Name was SSGT. Frank J. Martin, serial #31139065

I have SSGT Martin's named Air Medal and Distinguished Flying Cross and would love to complete this group with his Purple Heart. Any information on its whereabouts are appreciated! Will pay top dollar to reunite his PH with the other medals.

Seeking the Silver Star Medal of William J. Boyle. This medal once belonged to fellow forum member Gary L. Mohrlang, who sadly passed away years ago. He posted the same medal on the WAF forum in 2005. This medal was first sold nearly 20 years ago here in Grand Junction Colorado and was part of a larger medal group. The recipient also received the Distinguished Service Cross in WW1. At the same time Gary purchased this medal, I purchased some of the other medals and I was offered the Silver Star first however I did not recognize they were part of the same group (I was a young novice collector) Mr. Boyle served in both World Wars and was finally discharged in 1947. I found a picture of his grave stone and it lists both the Distinguished Service Cross and Silver Star. Its a long shot, however I thought I would try to track down the missing parts of the group.

I'm looking for the Purple Heart and other items related to PVT James F. (Fremont) Long from Indiana. Some documents were recently sold on eBay and I would like to at least obtain digital copies if possible. I'm hoping his medals are out there somewhere!

I recently purchased a small grouping for Aviation Machinist Mate RALPH O. SKAU, Jr. in Florida. The antique dealer I bought it from said the family member had an additional medal but wanted too much money for it, so he passed it up.

Since he was an aerial gunner I can only guess it was an air medal. Any items identified to

RALPH O. SKAU, Jr. would be of great interest to me.

I am looking for medals, photos, and documents to Capt. Anthony B Mitchell of the 491st Bomb Group who was KIA 18 Sep 1944 in Holland. A set of replacement medals were sold on another medal site along with his original Purple Heart certificate, training books, and photographs. I would like to reunite these items with his original awards.
