Fritz Posted June 20, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 20, 2009 Picked this up today at a local antique lawn sale, not a bad piece. How many variations of this badge are there? Fritz
camopara Posted June 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 20, 2009 There are a few different variations, not as many as jump wings, but enough to keep you looking.

posse Posted June 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2009 Indeed, these aren't glider pilot wings... These were for qualified glider infantry men. These go on epay from 50-100 ... rgds Bart P

adamoi1984 Posted June 21, 2009 Share #9 Posted June 21, 2009 Ok, I do have a question about glider wings (hopefully its not off subject). I dont think these where issued too much longer after WW2, but Ive read in books about several SF guys being awarded glider badges. So, I guess my question is, if after being discontinued, how where they still issued to SF guys in the late 50's to mid/late 60's?
