kyhistorian01 Posted June 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2009 A friend of mine recently passed on this uniform to me. He was a cadet in the 1960s with the civil air patrol and went on to serve for many years as a senior member and squadron commander. He is going to pass on more material to me as he finds it. Teamski Posted June 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 19, 2009 Oh, that is slick!! Beautiful uniform! Those are not common being complete like that. I love the leadership badge on the shoulder. -Ski
Lee Ragan Posted June 19, 2009 Share #4 Posted June 19, 2009 That is a super old Cadet's 1505 uniform. Finding a CAP uniform for that era (or earlier), that hasn't been stripped of insignia is very rare. Love the old plastic "Capt'n. Crunch", cadet ribbons and that LSI on the shoulder. I LIKE IT!!!
willie128 Posted September 7, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 7, 2009 Whoa! 4 encampments and only a C/MSgt? He sure got around a lot. FYI: Ribbons are in the wrong order. See attachment (I know they show the modern ribbons; they are almost the same though.)
