Bob Hudson Posted April 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 17, 2007 Found this at the local swap meet. This is a US Navy MA-2 torso harness from the Vietnam War era, dated 1973. My understanding is that the pilot wore this and then fastened the harness to the ejection seat once they were inside the aircraft.
dustin Posted April 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2007 cool, now you just need to find the items for the pockets which are not very many and common to find. The harness acts as a restraint for the body or torso during ejection and attaches at four points to ejection seat which releases after chair has left aircraft.
