Patrick. Posted November 10, 2008 #1059 Posted November 10, 2008 My camera's back to business. Some random shots of my Tigers. Hello Andre, always a pleasure to view your items. Do you have any further information regarding the original owner of the VNMC advisor set? Are they part of a larger grouping, or has another life in the service been split around the globe? Thanks for posting, Patrick.

vintageproductions Posted November 10, 2008 #1061 Posted November 10, 2008 Hi, Great shots from the old magazines, I love these Gung Ho beautiful girls in Tiger Stripe, ultimate TS collectors dream I appreciate also to see Modern MASH repro, they are really very good, what s a pity they are almost as expensive as the real ones. Cheers When MASH came out with their first gold sets, the prices were 8,000 yen per piece shirt or pants, at the time that was roughly $70.00 US. The boonies were 3500 Yen and the berets 2800Yen, again roughly $30.00 and $25.00. The tour jackets were 16,500 Yen for plain ones and embroidered ones were 25,000, again about $150.00 and $225.00. This was 1998. The silver patterns were made in 2000. This time the shirts and trousers were 8,00 Yen each, about $80.00. When MASH made these there was only a limited number done. The silver patterns sold out in less then two months. They did a re-run of them, which MASH doesn't do, and these also sold out in record time. I am a business partner with MASH, and I have been on them for eight years to run them again, and the ansewr is always NO. These sets were made so perfectly, that is why the price is so high today.
vintageproductions Posted November 10, 2008 #1062 Posted November 10, 2008 Here's copies of MASH Co's original catalogs for the tiger stripes.
vintageproductions Posted November 10, 2008 #1066 Posted November 10, 2008 I love the fact they used Larry Dring on the cover.
