I am not sure if I love Owen's stories, but I will make sure I watch him next time he is here at my shop and asks to use the computer to check the forum, I will keep a better eye on him and check his pockets.

This is a repro JWD. Look at the print near the buttons, you can see the print join which is stupid.

Yes!, and the black spot in the middle of both sleeves!

Hello,

Here are my 3 sets of ARVN Tiger, as you can see they haven't faded in the same way (or printed with the same ink), all of them have the asian cut with hidden buttons

This one has a sleeve pocket, I don't know if it was added later or from the beginning. It belonged to a Vietnamese guy according to the name I can see on the collar

Owen,

One reputed dealer confused once, and some time when you don't see a full pattern or with poor picture, it may bring some confusion. (I made hte mistake also when I started collecting TS). But probably it doesn't happen very often now with Johnson book.

Who would confuse this with a gold pattern ???

They are completely different both in print and fabric!!!

I never seen any Tiger strip flight suits up close. I took a chance and bought this at a show the other day

In mint unissued condition, it has YKK zippers

I need some opinions

Matt,

what a nice flight suite you have here, this one is identical to mine already shown above, the contractor tag is not often seen since they tended to loose while wearing the suite.

Thanks for sharing

Hmmm

So I was right about the flightsuit.

I wasn't sure if it was real or repro. So I took a chance and I figured I could always make my money back even on a repro flight suit.

So I thought I would play it safe and offered him $30 for it-save $5

I couldn't believe none of the dealers at the show took a good look at it, I was walking around for about 45 mins and it had been sitting on the guys table.

Anyone need a VN era Tiger Camo flight suit?

The flight suit is identical to the one we posted in posting #598

Bob, thanks

I wasn't sure if anyone made these as repro. Like I said I have never handled one or even seen one up close.

Looks like I lucked out.

Thanks..............Matt
