FriscoHare Posted June 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2009 I bought this uniform a while back. Its a 2nd Lt. Officer's uniform with 9th Chemical Corps pins and a 3rd Army patch. The pants came with the uniform and it had a stamp IDing it to an Army major. I'll post that one in the future. Does any one have any information on what the 9th Chemical Corps did and where they served? Any information will help. Thanks!

patches Posted March 14, 2020 Share #6 Posted March 14, 2020 Always late, nearly 11 years late in this case So Since there is no 9th Chemical Battalion then, Then Probably is the 9th Chemical Company when it was at Fort Bragg North Carolina in the 50s, Bragg falls under 3rd Army, so the 9th Chem Co being a separate unit, was a 3rd Army Troop Unit, worn I should think before it was sent to Germany, unknown exactly when it is shipped out.
