Fred Borgmann Posted May 31, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 31, 2009 Anyone here have any military medals mounted in finger rings? I have one from the Illinois National Guard which I will illustrate below. I bought this back in the 1980's and have never seen another like it since then. I'm sure this one was mounted privately. There can't be too many people who could wear a ring large enough to carry a full size medal so I am just curious as to how many other similar medal rings may exist? I’d imagine mounting miniature badges or medals would be easier to execute and wear. I can see cuff links as well as rings such as the one you’ve posted.
