joshypogi Posted May 30, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 30, 2009 I picked up this pair of jump wing and very intersting enough there is no stamp or a maker's mark. Is this authentic from the WWII era?
Allan H. Posted May 30, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 30, 2009 It is rather common to find these wings without a maker's mark, but less common to find them without a sterling mark. I They do indeed appear to be WWII vintage wings though they continued to be issued with pins well into the early 1960's. Allan
militarymodels Posted May 30, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 30, 2009 The wings look original WW2 period. If I remember correctly post WW2 production, 1947 and later perhaps (someone please correct if incorrect), were required manufacture code stamp on the back.
