USAF Squadron patch

Hi,

Got this patch, was id'ed as the USAF 580th Air Resupply and Communication Wing, but I can't find confirmation in my books, neither on the ARC vets assoc web site.

Does anyone have any of the others ARC units patches to show?

According to USAFPATCHES.COM, your patch is the 1501st Periodic Maintenance Squadron.

Here is an insignia attributed to 580th ARC Wing:

 

 

It was only active under that designation from April 1951 until September 1953. 580th ARC Wing's lineage goes to the current 480th Intelligence Wing (link here).
