Just picked this up yesterday. It looks and feels like an old squadron patch. The vintage transport depicted on the patch makes me thinkUSAF 1950s. 5 inches across.

Any Ideal what unit this is from?

I used to have one of these. I asked Jerome Polder about it and he said it had never been identified.

A friend of mine has one and I've seen it on a few other sites, but so far it's still a ????? it's most likely a Troop Carrier or Cargo Carrier type.

I can't remember when or where, but I came across something that identified this as the 91st Ferry Squadron. I saw one sell on ebay a couple of years ago for about $80.

91st Ferrying Squadron is a bad ID Attached is a image of the 91st FS as it was copied from a 1943 National Geographic

Thanks for all of the help. I will keep searching.

I think these two are similar enough that one could be a later revised version of the other:

I could be wrong, but someplace in the back of my mind, I think it is a Navy unit. Maybe one of the VRC units.
