Has anyone seen this Blackinton Hallmark? Current script mark

Has anyone seen this Blackinton hallmark before? This hallmark is on the back of a pair of Submarine Medical Officers badge but I think it would be found on wings of the same period. The seller says they are original WWII but this hallmark doesn't match my known examples of Blackinton wings? Any idea of what period this hallmark would have been used?

That's the current Blackinton hallmark that I see on law enforcement badges. Go to collectbadges.com and type in Blackinton in the search function. Most badges have pictures of the hallmark, and you'll see that same hallmark.

 

I'm sure they've been around a while, but I don't know how long.

I emailed the Blackinton company and received a reply from the Customer Service Manager stating that they began hallmarking the back of their insignia in the mid 70's. I didn't send a picture but described it as there current hallmark as seen on their website.
