General Apathy Posted May 20, 2009 Share #3 Posted May 20, 2009 hi vettepartz, it's shown as part of the equipment list of the M1 .30 Cal rifle ( Garand ) it is for small parts and fits into a pocket of the larger parts roll bag. There were two sizes the one you show and a double snap size both fit into pockets in the tool roll bag. Shown here is a photograph with the double snap pouch, and in the photograph is the page of the rifle manual showing both pouches.
