Tonomachi Posted May 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 19, 2009 I picked this up at an insignia show for fifteen dollars. The seller got it I believe at a flea market with no explanation. The back shows some brass where the silver coating has been filed off. This might have been a pin back instead of a clutch back. My guess is that this wing is foreign made possibly during the occupation period. Anybody ever seen anything like this.
Gary Cain Posted May 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 19, 2009 I don't see anything that would make me think it is a foreign made wing. What do you see?

Tonomachi Posted May 19, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted May 19, 2009 I don't see anything that would make me think it is a foreign made wing. What do you see? I've got a couple of what I believe are occupation period Japanese made US basic paratrooper wings that are pin back and have a silver coating of some kind. They look similar to this one which is where I came up with this guess.
