Gregory Posted April 12, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 12, 2007 Hi What does it mean "aircraft" in that case? Was it for aircraft towing or airstrip building... or... something other related to aviation...? Best regards Greg

pconrad02 Posted April 12, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 12, 2007 Was this propane powered? What was the propose of the big tanks he has his feet resting on?? Cool looking vehicle though!
craig johnson Posted April 12, 2007 Share #5 Posted April 12, 2007 If this is being used for airfieled use at the time I would say the tanks are there to service the struts/landing gear or for the sheet metal workers to run there drills ect. I dont know vintage aircraft, but I assume they have air in there landing gears like modern planes. We have portable tanks like these in our hanger to service the struts on MD-80's and all our Boeing planes. Craig
