Khaki Jungle Hammock, unmarked

I rescued this one after a garage sale, nobody else was interested in it.

I have had OD ones but this is my first khaki. No markings or labels, so I have no idea what the story with it is but it matches the pics of a WW2 Hammock.

Be very careful with these hammocks as the Chinese made a copy of the M65 for the civilian market. It has a canvas bottom and I think it had a zipper closure rather than velcro on the net.

The inside pocket should have a label that is easy to see and it you are lucky there will be a repair kit in the pocket.

Just found the label and it is ....... a genuine 1943 made US Jungle Hammock Complete, or at least it will be when I find a pair of iron rings.
