I use buckles that are beautifully cast for me and I also use photoetch buckles. The ones on this saddle are the photoetch. I had these made as well. They're not as nice as the cast ones but they're cheaper and they look nice. The buckles on the 1847 grimsley I posted earlier on this forum are cast in pewter. Thanks for looking.
