hawkdriver Posted May 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 4, 2009 I was given this headset by a guy that he found it in his garage. It is marked H-13/U and it is dated 70 by the contract date on the headband and on the earphone. What radio would this have been most commonly used with? Bob Hudson Posted May 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted May 4, 2009 The official government specs say: "Purpose and Use. Headset H113/U is designed for use under the regular steel helmet or the armored vehicle crash helmet. It is used principally with radio equipment, but can be used with wire equipment to which the characteristics of the headset are adaptable." hawkdriver Posted May 4, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted May 4, 2009 I just tried it on under my CVC and my steel pot, if they can be worn under both, that verges from annoying to uncomfortable Basically, a jack of all trades head phones then. Thanks for the feedback.
