Greetings all,

I am executing an estate that holds a Colt SAA with the original 7.5” barrel, and matching, original components.  I wrote to Colt which confirmed it was shipped to the US Government.  Anything else I should be aware of?  Appreciate your help!

Looks like an exceptional example. Would be great to get a Kopek letter on it however I heard some-where that his is not doing them anymore and I am not sure if Springfield Research Service is even around anymore. Some-where deep in the Govt. Archives is a lot of history on this piece. The Georgia mark is pretty cool guessing Georgia State Guard. Good solid martial Colt SAA.

I would post it on the Colt Forum. They have some great knowledge over there.
