I recently picked up this photograph that states across the bottom, “The Chaplain School, Harvard University, August 11-September 5, 1942.” I at first found it interesting that there were ten African-American officers in the class, obviously it wasn’t segregated, I then did a little research. With that said I believe the four chaplains that went down aboard the USAT Dorchester in February 1943 may be in this photograph. I believe I have found two of them and then my eyes bugged out. I will let the photos speak for themselves and I would appreciation any opinions or further information on the chaplains. IMG_4884.jpeg.a98d5a3ba1186a4d3d810d6303ff07a7.jpegIMG_4886.jpeg.d6cb4b0ee78ff1613e76128395e753dd.jpegIMG_4496.jpeg.5f6753dddeea9026eac568d5d56a62ee.jpegIMG_4493.jpeg.4ca69281fbc52d53195aaa865443c74c.jpegIMG_4494.jpeg.797c40929a36b63083f45e73f554fc0a.jpegIMG_4491.jpeg.1360a44c190c9ccabb04bba91eee5d13.jpeg

After further review that is not Lt. Goode. He is obviously a Christian and the Lt. Goode was Jewish.
