Hi,

I used the forum not long ago and got a fabulous response so I'm wondering if I'm able to get another one. We found this item at near the old WW2 Ramsbury Airfield in England and we believe it is a towing mechanism for either a Waco or Horsa glider. It's quite heavy and the 'wheels' are about 4" diameter.

I've been trolling through videos and websites but can't quite work out exactly where it's used.

Cheers,

Janine

It doesn't look like the mounting points for the single or duel towlines for the CG-4As.
