I have a Medical "Front Window" "Son in Service" hanging cloth.  The soldier's name is William F. Meyer, and he lived in the FORT Wayne, IN., Area.  There are several additional pins attached that reference Concordia Lutheran Seminary, In St. Louis dated 1926.  Meyer could well have been a Lutheran Pastor by, the late "20's.  Any help would be appreciated.

I did “some” search on US Army transportation manifests during WWI and found “like” two (2) individuals 166th infantry (but the last name had an “S” added to the end “MEYERS” so could be typo or wrong man and 38th Division, 139th field artillery, Supply co. “Wagoner”…might be your man serial Number 1575749

Well so much for my research….I’m leaning to and agreeing with the info “aznation” uncovered/researched.  Great job “AZNATION”!

Thank you both so much for your information.  I think you have scored a winner!  I think the Concordia buttons made the difference.  At any rate it adds a nice addition to my WW1 people.

Hello all-   I would post a photo of the above wall-hanging if someone could help an old man.

Thanks again robinb for the posting help.   The pin at the top of the hanging is "as found".  The tiny button at the bottom left is a 1923 dated: Indiana Corn Growers rump'n.   The  hanging arrow head & block house is a 1931 American Legion Thirteenth Annual Convention badge that was held at Detroit.  At the top right is a Martin Luther button.   This is a very busy wall hanging.
